Increasing the Capacity
for Child Health Research
The Be My Hero Capital Campaign will raise $20 million for the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba to support growth at the Manitoba Institute of Child Health. The Manitoba Institute of Child Health (MICH) currently operates out of the 5th Floor of the John Buhler Research Centre as well as other sites around the Health Sciences Centre and University of Manitoba campuses.

The Be My Hero Capital Campaign focuses on the 5th and 6th floors of the John Buhler Research Centre (JBRC) on the campus of Winnipeg’s Health Sciences Centre. This project to increase our research space is absolutely essential as our facility is currently functioning beyond capacity. We need to expand now to accommodate our current team of scientists and their groundbreaking research studies. The new space is crucial for recruiting new researchers, medical experts, and trainees dedicated to child health.
